blogging..

My daughter, Melissa, told me the other day that I needed to start a blog and promote my Etsy shop if I wanted to sell anything. Of course I have not retired yet, so I don't have the time to spend hours on the computer, as it looks like this endeavor will need. But I will put an honest effort into it, as I share some of my items in my Etsy shop. This mini scrapbook I made a few days ago. It is for a baby boy. Of course it will make a great album for my daughter, who is expecting her first child, a son in January.

Scrapbooks!!

I have been working on creating mini scrapbooks. I opened and Etsy shop a couple of weeks ago. I had my first sale today!! Of course I feel guilty, as this sale came from my daughter's friend, who also has an Etsy shop. She creates beautiful scrapbooks, and actually inspires me to be creative. I don't plan on making lots of money off of the Etsy shop, but it will give me the opportunity to be creative, and will keep me busy.

Grand child.........

We are going to be Grandparents!! We are excited, and can't wait for her/him to arrive, in January.

Passion Flower

I enjoy gardening. But I enjoy taking photos of my flowers even more. This was a photo I took in 2007 of a passion flower in my yard.

So I got bored and needed to come up with some handmade cards quickly, since the other ones were taking way too long. So I decided to recycle some of last years cards I received. I thought they turned out quite nicely.
