- I am a retired Air Traffic Controller. I started my career with 8 years in the Air Force, then 21 years as a civilian controller working on a MCAS training young marines. I retired in 2009 and I love it!! I have been married for over 28 years to a fabulous, caring, husband, I have two beautiful daughters, a wonderful son in law, and an adorable grandson. Life is Good!

How exciting that you are having your first grandchild! SOMEDAY I will be a grandma. But, my kids are still young and single and I know I need to be patient. they will make the correct choices . . . but patience is not a virtue of mine.
